TSR Habildar died after being hit by a police barricade

Staff Reporter, Udaipur, 5 July. Biker TSR Habildar Joydev Das died after being hit by a police barricade on the national highway on Sunday morning. Joydevbabu, a resident of Radhakishoreganj in Shantirbazar, lives in Udaipur. From there, he put on his uniform at 7 am and went to Agartala on his bike to do his traffic duty. He had an accident at a barricade set up in front of the Bagma police outpost. When he was rushed to Gomti District Hospital, the on-duty doctor declared him dead. What a cruel irony of fate, it is learned that this young man of TSR 3rd Battalion joined the traffic duty at Agartala on June 20 after appealing to the authorities as his wife was a cancer patient. The only son is in seventh grade. He came to protect his family and went to an unknown country.
